The Clothes I Gave Away Months Ago Just Showed Up at My Door in the Strangest Way

I sent a box of outgrown toddler clothes to a stranger named Nura, who had absolutely nothing for her daughter. A year later, those same clothes arrived back on my doorstep—freshly washed, neatly folded, and accompanied by a tiny yellow duck and a heartfelt letter.

Nura explained that she had escaped an abusive relationship, and those clothes had kept her daughter warm during their hardest days. The little duck had become her child’s nightly source of comfort. From that one small act, a deep friendship blossomed; our daughters are now inseparable, and kindness continues to flow back and forth between us.

It all started because a simple act of giving eventually found its way back home.
